I havn't been as attentive lately because with the new way of flashing through Sprints updater, much help isnt needed. I dont come on the Android forums much either. If you have a question or really need help or anything, just shoot me an email to myusername@gmail.com

So I tried to root my droid... Totally didn't back it up first... Stupid me. But now it won't turn on. Before I go about that subject, I have another question, Do I have to upgrade to CL14 before I try to root my phone?
EDIT: I think I might have the same problem chronic had...
EDIT EDIT: Nevermind. I'm rooted, running ZE11... But I deleted everything on my phone in the process. lololo...
day one on the moment. by myself, I was able to get speedrabbit SDK 1.7/ark 2.0 on this little fella. i'm now at the point that I actually need to root, right?
well, if I am able to run an adb shell, but I get errors when I run the remount rw/ro commands...... what exactly did I do wrong? lol
if you have speedrabbit 1.7, then you successfully rooted your phone! I was gonna reply to your pm, but I guess it isn't necessary anymore and the reason the rw/ro commands don't work is because you're supposed to key in "su" for super user access... it will change the "$" to a "#"... once there, then you can do whatever the hell you want... and I would do some more research before running setCPU... not real sure how much you can overclock the moment...

i think the whole $ vs # display sometimes has to do with where your SDK files are located on your c: drive
just type "su" and if you have root, it'll change from the $ to the #
as for setCPU - i believe people who've tried to overclock in the past weren't very successful with it. but i use it to underclock during sleep and such, and it does help battery.
