Verizon Pre-order, Release date, and speculation thread

Every 4G phone I have gotten from Verizon has required me to call in. The OTA has never worked right. Even the Verizon store I went to when I reactivated my Rezound had to call in to the call center...

This might be blasphemous, but what's the importance on Chief's recommendation? And csr's are gonna be mighty busy Thursday/Friday night.

It's not blasphemous to question

I've been in another release thread with the Chief and trust his guidance. It may turn out to be unnecessary but in my mind... better safe than sorry.

However... if i am reading that folks on the east coast are having no issues with activating and keeping unlimited data with out calling I may go the same route.

I was in both the Dinc and Gnex releases

My fiancee is replacing her launch day Dinc with my Gnex and I am getting the GS3.

Yeah my order number has the same first three digits...I live within walking distance of the res as well.

Probably the same FedEx driver...lol

True. I first came here when I was thinking of ordering my Dinc. I bought the Rezound on day 1 for cash. Now I can't wait to move on. Battery life and over-heating is just terrible.

You should ask each person you deliver one to what their screen names are - LOL!! I'd be nosy like that, but you may be too busy for idle chit-chat....

I ordered on June 6 in the morning. I got the email with the shipping detail. I am supposed to get the phone on Friday. I live minutes from West Chester PA, so I hope it comes Thursday instead.

So, if we already have a 4g sim card (in current 4g phone)...we should be able to pop it in and activate the phone.. The current sim card is tied directly to the account. No need to call in then ?

Not from my experience. But other's experiences my differ. It should come with a Sim.

When the iPhone came to Verizon and also the GNex release, I knew what I was delivering. When they opened their door I'd say "I've got your new iPhone", etc. People were ecstatic.
I always enjoy Christmas too. Yes it's VERY busy, but people are always so happy to get their gifts on time.
