After ICS every time I put the phone in my car dock it wants me to accept the agreement for VZ navigator. Does anyone know if clicking accept will charge me for VZ navigator usage? I only use google maps and navigation and do not want VZ turned on, In fact I wish I could uninstall it.

My issue with the phone when its in car navigation dock is when the screen dims to an almost unreadable level, especially when I'm not actually using any navigation apps.

I use a universal car dock rather than the Motorola one. Here's some suggestions:
1) Try an alternative car dock application. I use Car Home Ultra and think it's great.
2) If you're in the Navigation app, open settings and check or uncheck the Screen dimming feature
3) There's an app called KeepScreen where you can set it so that the screen won't time out for apps that you select.

I think the screen dim is a screen ans power saving feature. It does it even when you are running navigation. It does brighten up when your next turn comes up though.

You are correct. First time this happened to me I was like wtf but then saw what it was doing. Now that I understand it and am used to it I like it.

I just found a new setting that I don't believe was there under Gingerbread. Go into the main display settings, click on Brightness and the second item has a check box for Display Power Saver. If that item is checked, then the display dims as a power saving feature. If you don't want your screen to dim, uncheck it and that may resolve your issue. Like I said in my post above, there's also a dimming setting in your Navigations setting as well.
