I have been unsuccessful using wifi tether on any of the current JB builds with either foxfi or barnacle. Something about ad-hoc errors, invalid arguments, and all kinds of other crap that gives me a headache.
I just want to know has anyone has any luck with tethering who is on 4.1? That is a crucial function that I need of my phone, and as much as I like JB I may have to ride out the wait on ICS if I cant get this resolved. Is this a JB thing or is it just due to the whacky (in)stability of the currenty JB roms?
EDIT: This issue has been fixed on Jelly Belly v3.3, I have verified working built-in wifi tether as do many others. Can't vouch for USB or BT tether because I haven't tried. Don't know about any other 4.1 ROMs.
