Yeah that Launcher Pro. The same one that hasn't been updated since my Eris it seems. Love it. I wanted an app drawer with a black background (AMOLED screen ya know), the ability to hide apps, and a scrollable dock on the homescreen. Check check check.

The scrollable dock does several things well. I have a screen brightness widget, search, Bluetooth toggle, tesla flashlight toggle, SVoice widget (disabled the home button double tap to reduce lag) all there, plus others. It's much easier to reach the dock than to pull down menu bar, especially one handed.

No folders with L.P., but oh well...This is still a great launcher.

I was using Launcher Pro for two days. I was amazed at how well such an old application worked on such new hardware.

I wanted a bit more ICS feel, so now I'm using Nova. I tried Apex, but it didn't rotate from portrait to landscape quite as quickly or as smoothly.

We'll see how it goes.

Folders? Which ones exactly, because I can shortcut to home screen alsorts if folders.

I too have ADW EX. I used it for just a little while, but longer than the 15 minute trial window. It's way too late to get a refund now, but I would if I could.

Why? Mainly because I HATE the way it rotates; my dock icons invert and there is no way to stop it, even though I want them to maintain their relationship to the capacitive buttons of the phone.

Aardvark!!!!!!!!!!!!
:wavey:

Are you guys getting a lot of re-draws with either Nova or Apex?
Nova, no works great. Apex I only used for a day but seemed fine as well (other than it didn't render one of the Beautiful Widgets correctly so I stuck with Nova)

I really, really loved LPP, but it just got left behind (wish the dev would resurrect it). AWD updates seem to have slowed down lately as well.

Go aways seemed like they were trying to up-sell me with stuff.

What does everyone have against ADW launcher? I have the paid version and I've been quite happy with it...

I'm a huge fan of ADW! I use the paid version and think it has the most customizations of them all. My only complaint is the lack of widgets in the app drawer when you use 4D cube. But I think it's the fastest launcher out there with tons of tweaks.

I could never get into Apex and Nova seemed a little slow to me. I've never tried Launcher Pro.

hi guys...

i've been using LPP for more than 2 years... on SGS and SGS2... now on my SGS3.. i can't seem to get the LLP widget to run, adding the widget will make LLP force close :(

so i'm thinking it's time to move on... reading the LLP forum.. its rightly pointed out.. LPP is dead as a dodo.. :smokingsomb:

So my simple question, which in you guys exp.. of all the available launcher out there that is most closely resembles the LPP?

Especially even better if it has its own twitter, fb, calendar widget like LPP.. i mean.... the LPP widget were both beautiful & dead simple to use.. and it was so practical as well..

I'm trying to give the touchwiz on SGS3 a try as my daily driver.... but can't seem to find any widgets that works simply like the LPP's widget for twitter or facebook.. any suggestion on this also?

I did found Simple Calendar widget though, its simple and acceptable replacement for the LPP's calendar widget.

Thanks in advance for all your inputs ;)
