Thanks much for help here-

I have a T959 stuck on the "Vibrant" loading screen, and unable to get any kind of USB connection.

Details:

Just got this phone from a friend, he had modded/rooted/etc lots on it, and I have a bit before on other phones. The phone had CWM/etc on it.

Couldn't get rid of friend's google account, so did a factory reset.

Phone will charge, but not connect at all via USB. I've tried multiple cables that are confirmed working for data and charge connection on other android phones. I can get charge, but no PC connection at all.

I figured I could just boot into CWM and flash it over to a new ROM, so went in and formatted the "data" and "system" areas via CWM.

Suddenly realized I hadn't put the actual ROM zip on the SD card (arg), so I exited CWM, pulled SD card.

I formatted the SD card just to be sure it was nice and clean, then dropped in the zip files.

Now, I can't get into CWM at all. And the phone (naturally) won't boot either. I can hit "Install Packages" from the stock boot screen, and it claims to be "replacing stock with CWM", a little loader bar comes up but just disappears and then phone reboots into stock boot screen again. No joy.

And that's where I am now...unable to get to CWM or boot the phone, and USB connection refuses to work.

Do I have any options or methods available here?? Thanks a bunch...really hoping for an option here :(

PS, I have tried dropping in the latest CWM file to the root of the SD card, and renaming it "update.zip". No luck there. I never get errors, but the "reinstall packages" just doesn't appear to do anything at all...
