After using GO and Apex for the past couple days, I purchased Apex Pro. They are very close to each other and I will probably bounce back and forth between the two. I liked that upgrading to Pro on Apex gave me a set of unlocked features that were very easy to understand. Go has a whole bunch of modules that can be downloaded or not, some paid and some free. I couldn't quite figure out how much my out-of-pocket cost was going to be for the features I wanted.

I like that Apex Pro not only supports Apex themes, but GO and ADW themes as well. One thing I do not like about Apex is I cannot figure out a way to hide apps in the app drawer ; something that even stock TouchWiz does easily.

I'm curious on this as well, would love some more feedback from people who have used multiple launchers on the same phone.

I tried Go on my old phone, and really liked it, but it seemed to suck the life out of my battery.

Go is a bit heavy on memory and battery. Apex seems to be the lightest one with minimum impact on memory, battery for ICS but pretty fast and smooth.

I'm using tsf shell. It looks Fab, smooth slides from screen to screen. Just. Love it.

This is probably a dumb question but will it cause any problems to have launchers like Apex, Nova, & Go all installed at them same time to try them out?

It shouldn't. I had ADW and Go installed simultaneously for a while and was switching back and forth between those two and TouchWiz to decide what I wanted and there was no issue. Get Home Switcher to make the switch easier.

I have been using Go because I used it on my DX. I still like it, but I'm not sure I understand why people are so set on nova or apex. I have tried each a little but don't see any differences or advantages of them over Go. Could someone please explain why each of these are better? Other than they were made for ICS

I want one touch dialing widgets and one touch messaging widgets. Nova and Apex offer those. Some others just pull up the contact when you press the widget requiring you to press a second time for a call or to type a message. How does Go handle this task?

I was a huge fan of Go Launcher for my DX, but when I loaded it on my G3, I was disappointed. I ran Go, Apex, and Touch wiz, and decided to uninstall Go, it had limitations on the scrolling dock that irked me. I'm finding that for me, Apex most closely resembles what I had on my DX, so for now I'm running it. I'd run Touch wiz if it had a scrollalble dock.

Does ADW allow for one touch calling and one touch messaging from a widget on the GS3's home screen?

I don't really understand the question? You can add a direct dial and/or direct message shortcut onto a home screen if that's what you mean. But I don't think that has anything to do with the launcher. Isn't that a stock feature?

I prefer Nova over Wiz due to being able to save settings, increase icons per page, landscape mode and mass app adds to folders (nice), short cuts, plus other options not in Wiz.

Prefer Nova over Apex since Nova has mass app add to folders in the free version. I will buy Nova if I stick with it. Added: Probably will stick with it. IMO, much better than Wiz.

I think there are a few things that are pretty surprising in this poll, the first of which is that so many people are using Touch Wiz. I would've assumed that people on this forum are more "techy" by nature and would be more inclined to customize their phone.

While I think Touch Wiz is ok, I can't stand not being able to change my icons, the # of columns and rows, the screen transitions, app drawer settings, etc...
