Did anyone in the UK wake up with a confirmation email?

I've heard of 3 that have shipping emails (only three!) and 2 people who have received without any prior contact from google today, all are 8gb units.

Mine is 16gb - they MUST be tomorrow ... surely?

I think it may be something to do with which one was ordered. Reason i say that it that i ordered a 16gb on the 27/06 and a friend of mine who lives 5 minutes away order an 8gb on the same day - his turned up today but mine never......gutted

Unfortunately looks like the 16GB is the issue. The play store changed it back to 2-3 weeks for shipping. I ordered an 8 & 16 and haven't gotten either.

I'm waiting for an 8gb but I'm WAY up in the north, the closest TNT depot is one and a half hours away. We'll have them tomorrow I reckon.

I just got the my 'Shipped' email out of the blue and have no charge as yet made to my CC.

However, it has the original delivery address. They have not actioned the message I sent to them on 12th July instructing them to deliver it to a different address. Ho hum

It's still listed as 1-2 weeks on the uk Google play page.

Did you click over to the 16GB? The 8 still says 1-2 Weeks, but for me in the US, when I click over to the 16 it now says 3-4 weeks.

Hmmm... ...odd. Unless they severely underestimated US demand for the 16GB version and any reinforcements are literally on a slow boat from China.

Compliments my collection of android phones quite nicely!

In the future I'm gonna get the new nexus phone whenever that comes out and a nexus tablet. Vanilla android is too nice! You don't realise how much of a drag Sense or Touchwiz is until you have a nexus device. Might just tell my Mum it never arrived, or that Apple banned it.

There really is something to be said about pure Android. I've never lived without it except for a brief time with my D2 (but I ran a custom launcher so that covered most motoblur up).

I'm getting a bit less cheery now. I've just read on G+ about someone ordering via GP on 15 July, and already has a shipping number. Also clear quotes from gp help desk operators stating new orders are taking priority over pre-orders! This is getting mental ... If true.

That is ****ed up if true! Feel sorry for everyone without theirs yet.

Don't be too despondent though if you don't get a confirmation email that it's been sent, because I didn't get one except the initial order email on the 29th.
