Did anyone in the UK wake up with a confirmation email?

Thanks i'm going to ask why people who ordered the 8GB are getting shipped before the 16GB models and why people ordering from retail are getting them shipped before ordering directly.

Google Wallet was showing nothing except that I ordered a nexus much like the first email I got.

I never checked my credit card, because, well I never do lol but figured they'd charge me when I get the despatch email, but my theory went out the window!

Yeah.. this is the stage I'm at. It's on the way at least and I've got Saturday free to get to grips with having a tablet (never owned one before!) and the differences between it and my phone. Probably best as I don't have much time to play with any new gadgets till the weekend.

If it came tomorrow I'd probably make the time, but that's besides the point.

I think it could be true depending on retailer.

I ordered a 16gb from dixons today and its been sent for delivery tomorrow.

I have a friend who pre-ordered 4 days ago from dixons and he is still waiting?

I bet google is the same, if so it is abysmal service!

Hit my gmail about 40 minutes ago so does seem like they're working on the next wave of shipments at the moment.

it appears to be true, I've seen people on XDA who ordered as late as the 14th get their confirmation for delivery email, I ordered on the 3rd and have NOTHING!

It also appears google have removed all contact info from play store! They really have ****ed this up, I am now actually very mad, I feel like cancelling the thing and buying an ipad, but I can't they wont let me as its too late! At least Apple have amazing customer services!

I have to own up to being a bit of an Apple-head until this purchase, and that statement is very true. I;ve had some magsafe issues and also a macbook problem - it was sorted in 12 hours!

I really wanted the N7 to be the device that broke my Apple-love (before my Apple-love breaks me - I cant afford to keep buying their hardware!). It still might, but Google are making that less likely right now.

I'm still holding all my toys in the pram at the moment though, even if my knuckles are getting increasingly white, and my face red .... it will come eventually I'm sure.

They actually have done that! Shocking. If they had released a statement, if they had replied to emails, if we knew anything at all about what was happening then they wouldn't have needed to remove the details. As of about 20 minutes ago I'm annoyed.

I actually had a go on my mates "New" Ipad and I thought, actually I DO see what all the fuss is about, is was amazing. But I do prefer googles UI and services and I hate their corporate ways but I did feel a little isheep in me today haha! Still I do think an Ipad is way over priced.

My best mate had 2 dead pixels on his 6 month old ipad he took it back and they could give him a brand new one fast enough!

Apple are fantastic for replacements if you take them into a apple store.

Wonder if google will ever open stores?

I've seen quite a few people order theirs today and will be getting it tomorrow, but I have also seen people who have also ordered from Dixons last week not have their order processed! Its all very odd!

Had my confirmation this evening, for my 16gb ordered on the 28th.
Can't track it with TNT even though I have a number.
Haven't been charged yet.
BTW if you entered the payment details on the play store, they are taken for payment when shipped, removing them does nothing but make future purchases harder.

I thought the 8gb were being shipped about a week before the 16gb anyway, and have heard that there is a delay for all new orders of around 1-2 weeks, which is very weird seeming you can get them on a lot of websites now.
