Did anyone in the UK wake up with a confirmation email?

Apple are fantastic for replacements if you take them into a apple store.

Wonder if google will ever open stores?

Could you imagine?! There'd be no opening times, just when the employees feel like turning up for work etc and if you ask them anything in the store they would just shrug lol. It'd be like that chappelle show skit in the print shop!

I also received a reply to my complaint email, it was from the same guy who helped me at the weekend, which is actually really good, normally it just goes to a generic email account and you get someone different every time.

I agree this has been very poor experience for all of us. In order to receive a full refund just simply follow the information below.

At this point it is no longer possible to cancel this preorder. I ordered on the 3rd so looks like I won't get mine until next week :( Preorder shipment processing on your order has begun, which means that our shipping provider is moving forward with delivery preparation.

Our expedited order fulfillment process ensures that packages are delivered quickly, which also means that there is a very short window of time to cancel an order prior to our shipping provider moving forward with delivery.

I recommend leaving a prominent note on the door to let our shipping provider know that you're refusing delivery of the package. In some cases our shipping provider has returned packages if their drivers see a note for refusal of delivery. The note should include the following:

- Refuse delivery-Return to Sender
- Include signature
- Include tracking #

If your package is returned due to refusal of delivery, your order will be cancelled and refunded within 2 weeks.

If the package is successfully delivered in spite of the delivery refusal note on your door, you can still refuse delivery of unopened packages within 5 days of delivery. To do so, contact our shipper directly to schedule a pick up of your package. Make sure to let them know that the pickup is specifically because you're refusing delivery.

IMPORTANT: Don't open the package. Our shipper will not allow refusal of delivery for opened packages.


Can't decide if they opening sentence is just him actually been really honest or if its their way to make me feel better? It does seem a but overly honest! I won't get mine until next week now as I ordered on the 3rd.

Now I was considering refusing, but when I look on other websites they all now have delays! The only website that doesn't, that I can find, is Dixons, but it says expected 16 June, so I just don't trust that information!

That is such a great paragraph of total BS. It doesn't actually give any information at all!

It mentions increased speed and progression of delivery lots (expedited, short window, moving forward, quickly), and assurance that you can rely on this. But, the whole point of this email was to apologise for the delays and lack of clarity, so the para is totally unnecessary.

Brilliant!

I'm still going to wait I think. next week isn't that far away, and I doubt the retailers will have enough stock to beat this deadline anymore.

... and of course, there is the increasing reports of multiple screen issues. I may just see how that pans out. So far, I've only seen them coming from the US.
