[Verizon] [ROM][4.0.4] AOKP ICS B40/M6/Mods (7/8)

This is odd behavior it is not supposed to do that. Are you sure you are not running some kind of app that is interfering with it? Could you list your apps here or do you have too many? Have you tried uninstalling maps and re-downloading and installing it fro Google market/play?

I don't think I'm running any apps that would be interfering with it, and I have uninstalled/re-installed from the Play Store. I might update to M6 just to see if it fixes it, but most likely will wait for the AOKP JB release.

Works fine for me, no FC.

On M6, is there a fix for the FC when you press "Storage"? Thought I saw it somewhere but I can't remember.
Franko kernel M4 did it for me, the stock kernel didnt.

but once i flashed franko nightly r194 it went away

i say try a new kernel and see if it goes away... it did for me

Man, so ready. Its been tempting to try another rom, but so far hasn't happened.

I just nandroided back to M6 from Jelly Bean, missed all the bells and whistles of this ROM. JB was noticeably faster but the trade off wasn't worth it for me. It made it easier going back knowing that I could install Google Now on this ROM. I got it here The Google Now for ICS Project. [UPDATE 7/15][NO VOICE][APK AND ZIP] - xda-developers. It doesn't work as good (no voice search) but it still works.

That's exactly how I felt.

What I missed the most? Waking my phone with the volume buttons.
I have my phone set to sleep at the default setting, but it locks after several minutes so I can wake it by just tapping the screen, if not much time has gone by. Those little things made me switch back after an hour of JB. :D

I know the feeling. I'm on Bugless Jelly Bean and I really like it but I'm missing all the personalization of AOKP so bad...

But I'm gonna hold out for AOKPJB and then it'll be like Christmas morning when I get it!

U guys kill me . Guess I'm slow. Still on AOKP_toro_build-34!! Works great, good battery with Franco milestone4 kernel.
Lurking on the JB convo though. Next flash will be for that.
If I do a nandroid and backup with TB and then do a complete wipe I still can go back to this, right?

thanks
Billd

I hear ya, I'm fat and happy on B38 & LeanK and when I seen some of them a-jumpin on the first bean in sight I knew better because the bells and whistles of AOKP would be missing. The AOKP Bean is gonna be fun. Just in time too.
Just finished building and dialing in a gaming PC and fully available for the bean..

You don't.... quantity = good stuff (more = better). :D

Thanks, I was afraid my dyslexia was in a higher gear.
