MLB AT BAT Android on sale in March

wow the feedback in the market for this app is terrible.. MLB better fix it cause there is an uproar. for those that do have it. can you choose your home market broadcast? like if your team is on the road , do you have to listen to the other teams announcers?

I have a feeling a lot of the stuff will be ironed out come April 4th.

As far as the audio cutting out, I haven't had too much of a chance to listen yet, so I can't comment on that.

My biggest concern was that the plays/pitch by pitch wasn't updating real time. It does appear that this is a function of it being Spring Training. Last Friday the Cubs played the White Sox at Cashman field in Vegas. I was watching the game on TV and this particular game had pitch by pitch available. The app was updating, at most, 1 pitch behind, and sometimes almost instantaneously. I was told by someone at MLB support that it's actually the VENUE/Stadium that has the personnel updating the information, and because it's Spring Training, sometimes they don't even update it until 1 inning or more later.

As far as the broadcasts, the above poster is correct, some games aren't broadcast by both teams broadcasters, and sometimes, some games aren't broadcasted at all. Regular season games will have both available for every game.

Why can't I find this app?

Running Eris v 2.1

That's the second mention in this thread about 2.1 users not finding the app in marketplace (?) Anyone here with 2.1 actually using it? That's strange and (to me) inexplicable.

Well, I had my most pleasurable and most frustrating experience with At Bat yesterday afternoon. The Phils/Rays was drop-out free for the six innings I listened; until I took my phone off the dock and the feed promptly cut out seconds after my screen timed out. This is getting to seem like more than a coincidence, and while it's something I can deal with during spring training (when most games are during work hours and I'm tied to my desk anyway), it's going to make me angry if it's still happening during the season.

Anyway, that was fine because I just plopped it back on the dock and all was right. Then I listened to the Cubs broadcast, which had pitch data, which I was really excited about. Noticed before (when watching a game on tv) that the audio was delayed significantly...and this seemed to be the case again here. The pitch data was updating at what I assume was real time, while the audio was lagging a HALF INNING BEHIND; which made using both simultaneously impossible. The results of the first 3-4 batters would already be posted to pitch-by-pitch before the inning started on audio feed. Frustrating.

I don't expect things like that to sync up perfectly or anything, I understand that's impossible...also understand they're probably ironing out the kinks right now during ST, but Opening Day is approaching and I'm starting to suspect I they're not going to put too much effort into this now that they have my fifteen bucks....oh well.
