Its speculated to be on the verizon server for pre ota release testing. No problem, happy to help.

Hmm, four days and no updates, that's either promising or disconcerting.... I'll presume promising. Honestly kit means the devs address hard at work.

bad news guys. IM not happy about having to do this but all obligated to do so. due to unforseen circumstances savoxis isn't able to do any work on the ROM for us until the situation gets resolved. he has offered to purchase another device if we find another dev willing to work on I or return the donations. I did donate to him and am willing to wait until things get resolved. let me know what you think for those of you who donated.

time frame a few months hopefully sooner. I asked him to post in this thread to help work things out. if you guys are cool with it I can find another dev and savoxis well purchase him a spec. he was planning on buying a nexus 7 but wants to make things right with us first which is way respectable. so ctally ate you cool with me finding another dev or are you still wanting your $ back? I understand either way.

I got into this thread after the donations were already completed but would be willing to put in a few bucks now if another dev can be found to continue the project. I've been hoping and praying for an ICS ROM (non-bloated of course) for some time now...

Here is the deal.

My manager left for another company which has left me working 60 hour weeks with no time to even sit down for more than 5 minutes. Since I will not be able to work on the device until we get someone else in here (which could be a few months) I will be issuing refunds to everyone who donated tomorrow.

I will keep the spec so if/when I do have some time I will help you guys out - I apologize for the inconvenience but the situation has spun out of my control. If you donated and do not receive a refund of your donated funds by 7/20 ~12pm PST please send me an email at savoxis@gmail.com and I will correct the issue

very commendable. You are a great example of how people should treat each other. Thanks for your efforts and I look forward to seeing your work sometime down the road! Many of us will have our specs for a long time to come so I'm sure anytime you are able to get around to making us a rom it will still be well received. Thanks again for your honesty.

thanks savoxis for being so upfront about everything! I really would like to encourage you guys to leave it as be and wait, but I understand regardless. I mean we have already waited what seems like forever for ics so what's a little longer for what will be an awesome ROM when savoxis has the opportunity to work on it? also I didn't want to divulge the details of his personal life so hopefully that will clear some things up. I got my $ waiting with savoxis and have no problems doing so if that helps anyone make their decision.

BTW savoxis u can keep my donations! I want development not $

You are an awesome person, and extremely honest. Not that it means anything but you have gained my respect for life. I will always have a donation for you if you have the time to come back to us! Sorry to hear of your tough times and i hope all works out well for you man!

Considering savoxis is willing to refund all of our $ do we really need to be concerned about whether he will eventually get something done for us??I personally don't want to see him stuck with the cost of the spec, let me know what you guys wanna do and I will get in touch with him.

just so you guys know, ive been working on cm9 and have very little progress. I'm sorry for not having anything to release but its hard to build cm9 from source and get VERY LITTLE to almost NO HELP from the cyanogenmod dev team.

Android phones make great plex remotes, also I plan on working with the device when I have time, and I dont mind footing the bill for the device since I do have things I can use it for around the house - Its also nice to have a spare lte phone on the off chance I kill my nexus

as long as my money is going towards development i personally dont care. I would be ok with him sending the device to another dev also. But like i have said 3 or 4 times now dev>money. I will leave the rest of my decision to you admn81 as it seems your though process and feeling on the situation is very similar to mine.

Hey guys,

I issued refunds but I lied yesterday, paypal is slow and will take 3-5 days to migrate the money from my bank account. I was going to circumvent this by donating to myself to up my balance then refunding out of paypal - but it wont let me cancel the refunds I started. Sorry about lying on the timing - but they are on the way
