Help Anyone else find Haptic Feedback weak?

Not sure if it's just me, but does anyone else find haptic feedback on the S3 weak? I'm coming from a Droid X, which to me was perfect in this department, but with the S3 I feel the feedback is so low at times, that I can't even tell if I'm pressing the correct key or not...

Settings > Sound > Vibration Intensity.

Try increasing the value for Haptic Feedback

I turn off Haptic Feedback so I can't really comment on the intensity of it

I just got my phone last night and I'm pretty sure I found a slider setting for response.... I'll double check cause I was looking at a lot of stuff but it was set somewhere in the middle out of the box.

Oh are we talking about the keyboard or clicking on icons/cap buttons?

Vibration intensity under sound settings there is a third slider down at the bottom... For haptic

Thanks for the tips everyone, but I forgot to mention I have the slider ALL the way up and still find the feedback weak.

Guess I'll just have to live with it :/

Actually thought to myself a few days ago about how nice it feels to me. Hard to explain, but it feels more "compact" to me. Nice solid vibrate. Of course that's just me.

Wow you guys must have no nerve endings left in your fingers. I had to turn mine down to "notch 1" so it wouldn't be so strong.........

I am coming from an old Captivate with relatively weak feedback though. I personally just like a little buzz, not an earthquake every time I press a button.

I'm coming from an HTC Incredible and the S3's haptic is definitely weak, even at maximum.

How much feedback do you guys need to know the phone registered a touch? Unless your'e trying to turn the phone into a massager or vibrator a little nudge is enough right?

It does what it's supposed to. It's just weaker than what I'm used to.

For me, it's not so much the haptic feedback as it is the vibration when I get calls while in vibrate mode. I can't feel the vibration when the phone is in my pants pocket or when the phone is on my desk. I can feel/hear the vibration of some of my co-workers phones when my hand is resting on my desk.

I agree. When I'm typing fast, it's hard to feel. Coming from a DInc as well and I'd say it's half the strength.

It works, but I'd like it to be stronger.

Just the opposite; out of the box I thought it was way too intense. I immediately lowered it.

THIS! I can't tell you the number of calls I've missed because I'm unable to feel the vibration from incoming calls...

Have to say this is the biggest negative to the S3.

I had to return my phone to Verizon with vibration being one of the problems....there was a huge difference between my wife's s3 and mine on vibrate mode. I think some units are just defective. If I didn't have hers to compare to, I would have just kept mine and not been happy with vibrate intensity.

I have noticed SOMETIMES that haptic becomes very weak on my Swiftkey keyboard....sometimes it almost feels like it is off completely. Then it will come back.

Same thing used to happen on my Captivate.

Any ideas? Is it a software issue or mechanical issue caused by heat or something else?
