I just signed up for att and i got the gs3. My first one went doa so they replaced it. My dsecond one is having an issue where when i have 1 to 3 bars of hspa or edge data isnt working. But when it switches to lte its totally fine. Is this normal. Its indoors. Also-no calls come through on hspa

I would say not normal. I had a similar problem with VZW and my Razr but the reverse when it wouldn't stay connected to the LTE network; don't have that on the S3 with AT&T.

You might be on a "fringe" area of AT&T's network. I would call AT&T and ask for tech support level 2 regarding network connectivity issues, if you don't you will spend a day or two with level 1 tech support asking you to reboot, format, install etc.
