I've been messing with the OTG usb adapter and thought it would be fun to have one of those small folding gamepads I saw a couple years ago. Sure would beat stashing a PS3 controller in a bag or risk getting a vintage NES/SNES controller lost or damaged. I come to find that they are pretty much discontinued. Has anyone come across somewhere that still has them?

what do you mean? ive tried everything. none of the buttons respond.

i turn the ps3 controller on. plug it into my phone through usb otg cable. then nothing.

what are you doing different than me?

I think when pressing the PS button, that its for bluetooth control and not wired.

Nope. Here's what I do. I plug in my usb OTG adapter at the end of the mini usb cable hooked into my PS3 controller. I plug it all into the phone's micro usb port. I push the PS button in the middle of the controller. The controller is now recognized by the phone. If you are near your PS3 when you unplug the controller from your phone it will turn on your PS3. :)
