Well if you're running the stock rom, I still believe you could change the boot animation and sound but I'm not exactly sure. Maybe post in the root section and see if others have an answer
ok so i moved you to the rooting section. i have used this advice before:xda-developers - View Single Post - Help with boot animation sound. use that to find the path name for the bootsound. once you know the path, you can open up an app called root explorer and either use the path to get to the bootsound or you can do a search for the bootsound file name. once you have found it, make sure that root explorer has r/w permission so that you have can make changes to system partitions. now you can either delete it or i would just rename the file by changing the extension to .bat.
