I never knew when I bought this case, I would never be able to take it off.

Well that sucks.:(
A couple of friends have ended up using a coin like a dime to get those snap on ones to open up.Always made me flinch though thinking it could scratch something.
yeah the Amzer case i got for my incredible had a hole on the bottom that you can put a penny in and open it very easily, even had instructions telling you how to open it with a penny, i don't understand why this one don't have that

The pictures at the link in the OP show a slot on the left side, below the volume control, that would appear to be for this purpose.

To add to what Mike said ^ : That opening there on the side bottom below the volume keys... put your pointer finger fingernail in there and pull, while at the same time gently pushing on the screen with your thumb. It should pop right off.

Is that your review on Amazon from the link you sent?

We bought the rebranded Seidio case/holsters from BestBuy. We had the guy take them right out of the box so we could "try them on". I noticed right away that they were rugged and well built... so much so that they could be OtterBox cases (they did not have any Otterboxes in stock for our phones). We bought em right then and there.

These are some seriously nice case holsters (full case that comes with a holster w/belt clip).

Back when I had a Blackberry I got a case for it (Bodyglove I believe) that snapped together similar to what you have. I snapped them together off the phone and noticed they were very difficult to break apart also. So before installing it trimmed a few of the tabs down slightly to allow them to pop apart with just a slight prying with a fingernail, yet stay snapped together when needed.

I say take a butter knife and pry it apart, chances are it won't break and you can trim down the tabs slightly, but if it does you aren't out anything since you got your money back.

put a coin in there and "twist" the coin. it should pop it open.

i remember mine from a while back on my old phone....could not pop it off with my fingers but a coin worked every time.
I tried that on my mobi hard case and it just made marks in the slot. I finally just pried it off with my fingernails (didn't break any which is a shocker). Maybe I'm too weak to turn the coin all the time. I have carpal tunnel syndrome so my grip isn't great.
