I need some opinions! Verizon/HTC/Samsung content

So, I've been on T-Mobile for the last half decade. Before 3G came out.

Back then, EDGE was fine. Today? Absolutely not. I'm still paying the same amount for data as everyone that gets 4G, and not a single device in use in my phone isn't 4G capable.

So, Verizon just put up LTE in my area. I'm off contract in december, so I'll be switching. Now, here's my issue. I have a feeling Verizon won't be getting any new HTC devices very soon (since the Incredble LTE just came out) and I'm not a big Samsung fan. Any other OEM, I don't trust. I've had horrid experiences with LG and Moto.

So I'm pretty much trying to decide between the Galaxy Nexus (which worries me because it's already getting outdated as far as hardware goes), the Galaxy SIII (which worries me because I don't care much for TouchWiz), the Incredible LTE (which worries me because the screen is a bit small for my hands), or the HTC Rezound (which worries me because it's an S3 Snapdragon and Verizon still hasn't ICS'd it yet).

I love the galaxy SIII, but I don't much like the way it looks. The Nexus, I love the design. But PLASTIC!!! Come on Samsung, use more metal :(

What do you guys thing? Will a Galaxy Nexus keep me happy for 2+ years? Or should I go with an Incredible LTE, which suffers from a small screen syndrome? Will HTC put anything good out this holiday season?

I'm freaking out here lol. T-Mobile's HTC phones are always built so well. But Verizon tells them to make them all plastic I'm pretty sure. I just have a feeling I'll miss T-Mobile getting all the better-built phones.

Also, sorry for the long post. Anyone with some times on their hands, let me know what you think!

Thanks guys! (and I'll hit the "Thanks" button)

T-Mobile already has the HTC One S and will soon get the One X+. The '+' means it will be a hot-rodded version with a Tegra3 Plus quad-core running at 1.7GHz. Should be a killer device.

I don't quite get it...you want to go to friggin' VZW? Are you nuts? Is it because you don't get a 3G or 4G signal with T-Mobile? Have you contacted T-Mobile's retention dept about a free signal booster?

But their signal booster will only help at my house, which is pointless because I have Wifi at home that gets ~30Mbps Down.

I'm sick of paying $60/month just for data between 2 devices that doesn't get used due to being painfully slow.

By the way, their signal booster won't do a damn thing for me. There's no 3G/4G for 30 miles in any direction

If Verizon coverage is much better for you, it's worth switching. At this point you'll have to jump on either a tiered or family share data plan.
I love my Galaxy Nexus and think it'll have no problems lasting two years.
It's a shame the new Incredible was not a One series but I guess that's how Verizon wanted it.

I'm just worried that it won't do all that well for gaming, which I don't do very often, but sometimes when I'm bored. I heard the TI OMAP4 it has is OKAY, but I'm worried it's not as good as I have now. I've got a Sensation at 1.72 Ghz with the GPU at 360 Mhz i think, and it struggles to do GTAIII sometimes, so that's one of my concerns. The other is the camera and build quality. I haven't heard great things about either.

The Incredible is almost a One S, but I need AT LEAST 4.3", preferably 4.5+

The real reason I'm looking at the Nexus is because of price. It's only $99 at Verizon, and that's cheaper than everything else. I've always hated AMOLED, but at 720p I don't I'll have any issue with it.

That being said, is the Galaxy Nexus still pretty strong under the hood?

Am I right in thinking you're not switching until Dec? If so, I wouldn't worry about it to much yet, as VZW will surely have a new crop of phones out by then.

As far as their current offerings, I just switched from an Inc2 to the GSIII. This is my first Samsung phone. My previous 3 have all been HTC's. So far, I love it. There are a few software glitches, but I expected that, what with being an early adopter. Now, if HTC had put out a Note competitor before the switch to share everything, I would have been all over it.
