What happen to the the White Gnex?

So I just recently ordered my Gnex from the playstore, and was wondering what happen to the White Gnex? Honestly I would have ordered the white one and stuck it in a clear TPU matte Diztronic case. The same style case I have on my GSM.

Anyone know the reason why its not available anymore?

I think it was a Best Buy exclusive? Maybe someone else can confirm that.

I don't remember seeing it launch, perhaps they had issues with it (remember, apple had all kind of issues with the white iPhone at first.)

Was only a rumor. Still think VZW and others treated this phone like a red headed step child instead of a true Nexus device.

How come u are getting the nexus I thought u have a galaxy SIII. Any issues with that device?

Yup...Got the GS3, may keep it! Going to have to do an exchange. Have some serious issues with standby time, battery drains, and wifi cutouts ...other then that the phone is fairly good...lol

However, couldn't pass up on $349 for an unlocked pure Google phone running pure vanilla Android with no carrier nonsense.

Would have loved to have one but what's up with the black front on the bezel? I can put a white case on it (or a white battery door for that matter) and basically make it the same thing.

Lol...no, not the same thing. I have the clear matte Diztronic case on my SG3, would have looked sweeeeeet on my Nex.

Kellen posted a pretty cool white case he got for his several months back on Droid Life. Really seemed to like it (did a video review for it).
I've just abandoned cases at the moment so not too interested.

I ended up just ordering the Diztronic matte smoked grey case for my Gnex. Honestly these Diztronic cases are the way to go. Super thin, all the ports and buttons are cut out just right, and the in hand feel is fantastic. Using one on my GS3 right now, fantastic!

Have the Grey one for my GNex but honestly don't use it. They are great feeling though.

Ya know there are phones out there that you can really get away with not using a case on. The Gnex is definitely one of them! I attest that to being a phone that's not shiny, (hate fingerprints) and not feeling like a bar of soap that can fly out of your hands! Its really one of the reasons I wish Samsung would have went with a matte finish on the GS3, like HTC did with the One X.

I'm not a huge fan of white as a color on phones other than on what Samsung did on the S3, which I think is pretty attractive. I'm using a black Incipio NGP case on my GSM GNex and it both fits seamlessly and perfectly and feels incredible. It's got a nice, matte, finish, but is actually a TPU-like polymer. It also comes in a translucent gray if that's your thing.

I would have been all over it...I really love the look of my white GS3 with this matte Diztronic case. So maybe its good that I got the gun metal Gnex coming then, it'll really make me feel like I'm using a different phone...lol
