Just got ICS, not loving the keyboard...

I love the look of ICS, I love everything else, but I'm not digging the keyboard. Is there a setting I'm missing? At first I felt like it wasn't correcting as well as GB's keyboard. So I set it to "aggressively" correct and it still doesn't seem to correct well. I want to like it, but it's taking me longer to type than on GB keyboard.

I have downloaded the GB keyboard before and it was a thought but I *want* to like the ICS keyboard, lol. I bought better keyboard a long time ago so I do have access to that if I need it, and I really like the google typing too, so I'm hesitant to switch, I want to learn to love it.

My favourite on my phone is the compact mode on Smart Keyboard Pro. Much better - at least in portrait mode - than those tiny buttons on a full keyboard on a small screen, and the compact mode still uses the QWERTY layout (coupled with XT9 word prediction), so my fingers landed on the right keys from the first minute I used it. Switching to the full size layout may be necessary for inputting non-dictionary words though.

For my new tablet I'm still juggling SwiftKey 3 (what's up with their odd jump in version number by the way? From "X" to 3?) and Thumb Keyboard. The word prediction is better on the former, but the key layout is a bit more comfortable on the latter - even with both keyboards in split mode.
