Hi all! I just got my galaxy s3 a couple weeks ago and so far i LOVE it, but unfortunately it's been giving me a slight problem. My music player/pandora/any multimedia thing won't play any music or sounds when my phone goes into vibrate mode! It also seems that when I put the phone back onto normal mode (nothing is silenced), the problem continues and I have to restart my phone in order to be able to play multimedia again. has anyone had this problem or maybe have any suggestions as to how I can fix it? It's getting really frustrating! Thanks in advance!

Vibrate mode is global silence, (you can use audiomanager apps to manage profiles), but I think you can just click the volume key?

Lemme post a screen shot of it:
it's very strange. the volume is up but the little icon for the sound for music etc is crossed out and no matter what i do it won't work unless i restart the phone :/ any suggestions??
Hello, I'm having a same problem with you.
I already turn my phone into normal mode again but still the music player won't play
I have to restart my phone about 2-3 times and the music player already play again.
anyone knows how to fix it? this make me mad to restart it again and again while I just use the phone 3 days Щ(

I have the same problem, I don't know what is causing it but holding the home button and clicking "remove all" seems to resolve the problem for me. It's no fix but it is better than restarting

Ive been using the music player that it comes with and when it happens to me its when im at scool. I put my phone in airplane mode, put it on vibrate, and turn the media sound all the way down. After im done with school i can change all the other sounds except for media and it shows the silence thing like in the picture above. If anyone can help please do, i like listening ti music on the ride home lol

Samething happened to me today ending taskes seems to have done the trick I really hope it doesnt happen again if there is a fix please inform us
