Help I don't get on with the S3's keyboard. What alternatives have you tried?

I have used Swiftkey on both my EVO and Tablet for awhile now. Getting the S3, I tried the stock keyboard, then tried Swiftkey 3 and must stay, I will stick with Swiftkey 3. If you do not care for the Swype function, go with Swiftkey. You will love it, I promise. Get the trial to make sure you like it first, and play with the settings to get it right.

Do any of you SwiftKeyers end up typing a lot of V's and B's when you're trying to hit space bar? It got a little better when they made the space bar wider but I still do it a lot, I dunno why. I thought it wouldn't happen as much on my gs3 as it did on my dx but it does.

That's really the only thing that's remotely bad about SwiftKey to me.

Not at all. I did have thatbb problembonnmyboldnHTCnTouchnPro2nslide-out keyboard.

Try different kb heights and themes. I don't know why but I type far better with height set to smallest (good thing, that) and with Holo theme.

With prediction, I don't need the space bar much.

Using Swiftkey 3 today, A.I. Keyboard is ok, Jellybean is alright, quite a few free trials out there. My minimum requirements are having an intuitive predictive text/spell check, easy access to basic functions like commas, question marks, mic, number keys and I like the cursor keys for easier internet surfing, etc.

Personally, I love the swype beta. however, if I had not take the time to go thru the tutorial and view the shortcuts I probably wouldn't have been as much of a fan. I highly recommend doing that.

It works really well on my GS3, across the platform. The only thing that I've noticed a hiccup on is when you first click the browser entry on Chrome, it seems to take a few seconds to pull up. but seriously that is the only issue I've had with it.

the speech to text is very good as well. it's nice to have if you're in the middle of message and decide it would have been better to just speak it instead of swype it. This way you don't have to back to of the text to you Google voice or S voice.

I realize no one else wants this but I want one with the cursor arrows so I can edit my text. I hate the movable tabs. if anyone knows of a keyboard with this feature, please post it.

it would also be nice to have the microphone icon right on the keyboard for easy voice input.

I like Swiftkey and a couple others that have the cursors, I hate the little icon gadget you have to move around that jumps everywhere.
