Browser recommendations for SGS3?

It's important to me that auto-bookmark-sync work so my bookmarks on phone always are the same as my PC. Chrome- and Stock Browser does this and that's why I stick with Chrome (Chrome had better textreflow than Stock).

I really liked Opera but - like Dolphin HD - it didn't sync bookmarks and that's a no-go to me.

How is ICS Browser+ in this regard?

I'm guessing you missed the "opera link" setting then ;)

Well I saw it (and registered) but when I didn't get it to work I thought I had to use Opera on the PC to get the benefit (which I am not).

I figure that would be the point, opera on pc & phone, both linked enabled and syncing. Personally I don't bother with it, but it makes sense that Google browser 'plugs in' with accounts & sync to sync with its counterpart on a pc. Either way I'm not fussed, I just remembered that opera does link & sync as long as you use it elsewhere.

Don't have an S3 but Chrome mobile kicks ass, fast, smooth, and the UI is great especially the way it handles tabs which one you get used to you'll wonder how you managed before. Plus the book mark synch and integration etc with your desktops (I use Chrome only even on my Macs).

Have used Dolphin HD, Maxathon, Boat, Dolphin Mini, Opera, stock GB browser and stock ICS browser etc. Chrome is my go to w/o a doubt.

I agree with most of your points. But Chrome is lacking in the plugin area. No 'Save for offline reading', no 'Morning Coffee' etc etc. And Opera has better text reflow than Chrome even though Chrome is better than stock :)
yeh Opera has a slight edge with text reflow but i felt that was moreso against other browsers, as Chromes algorithms seem to auto-fit pages perfectly and better than others for reading so no need to pinch and zoom in and out on pry 99% of the sites when browsing. Once in awhile I'll double tap to zoom. Still in beta so I'm sure they'll add features like offline reading etc

"Best" tends to vary from person to person, and from situation to situation.

For example, I don't think that Opera, overall, is quite as good as some of the competition. But it is extremely good as re-flowing the text after I use the two-finger zoom on a webpage. (I don't want to have to scroll from side to side to read each line.) Since there's one website I have to spend time reading about 3x per day, and it requires me to do the zoom thing, and Opera's the best browser I've found for re-flowing text (at least on my phone and on this website), Opera's the best browser. For me. For this particular need.

Other people may need a browser that handles flash content really well; or that has a ton of available add ons; or that makes it as easy as possible to sync bookmarks, browsing history, tabs, and passwords with their desktop browser; or whatever. So, for them, some other browser might be best.

And for those people who don't know what it is they need in a browser, well, they might just be better off using their phone's stock browser until it proves inadequate in some way (assuming it does). Or perhaps reading browser comparison reviews and downloading/installing a few browsers which seem to have potential, and then deciding which browser best meets their needs.

I've been noticing that quite a few times that SwiftKey 3 doesn't seem to work real well with the Facebook mobile site. I've tried Chrome, Maxthon, Boat, and Dolphin. None of them work quite right under this circumstance, but I'm trying Dolphin.

Now if only there was a way to get Opera Mobile to display the Facebook mobile site while displaying all other sites as desktop...

There probably is, but I haven't dug into it yet.

That text reflow is an extremely important feature for me. I always used Dolphin on my Samsung Infuse, and it reflowed the text after zooming in really well. However, I just got my new S3 and discovered, much to my dismay, that Dolphin does not reflow the text on the S3. Therefore, I've been on a hunt for a browser that will. So far, I've found that Chrome, Opera Mobile and Maxthon do. Now I'm looking for one that not only reflows the text easily, but that can view pages in desktop view, instead of mobile view. I know that Dolphin does that. I don't think that any of my text reflow browsers (Opera, Maxthon, or Chrome) will do that. If you all know of any browsers that have good text reflow AND can view pages in the Desktop mode, please let me know.
