Hey guys! So I am looking to upgrade from my 2.5-year-old Verizon enV Touch. I really like this phone and would still want to continue using it; however, the inside screen has stopped working, forcing me to use the front's touch screen for text messaging and such. Virtual keyboards annoy me, so a real one is a must. Also, the enV Touch's battery life is much more noticeably shorter than when I first bought it. (I have to practically charge it after an average day's use, which is like only 5 sent text messages...) Because of this, I also want a good battery life (if such a thing exists). I want to keep my next phone for a relatively long time (at the very least 2 years), and I don't want it to have a battery life that ends up only being ~4 hours after those years come by.
I've never owned a Smartphone before, and I don't plan on doing anything too heavy with it. Just some texts, facebook/twitter, calling, that kind of thing. The reason I want an Android is because the college I'm going to (I just graduated HS) has a mobile app, and I think it will really be convenient to have this app for things like looking up classes, events, and such.
Hope my desires aren't too unreasonable! My main focuses are longetivity and a keyboard. I don't want anything too big; I think a 3.5"-4.0" is a good screen size for my intended usage.
