[Verizon] Can I add a non Citi/Google Prepaid card to Wallet app?

I flashed BB ROM and have a VZW Nexus. I know there are others saying it works, but was wondering if there was a way to add a Visa/Discover etc...

Get that pesky 'unsupported device' warning. I thought Google had now allowed any card to be added?

You can add any card with the new app. The unsupported message is because you are rooted, app should still work.

There's a new version? Didn't see anything in app store...guessing there's already a thread on this someplace.

Yeah, since Google Wallet isn't officially supported by the Verizon Galaxy Nexus LTE we have to install it by other means. This means that it won't show up in the updates list, we will have to manually find the app if we have it already installed and click update. I installed Google Wallet through the phones stock browser and I wouldn't have known about the update if I didn't read this article Google Wallet overhauled: support for major credit and debit cards, new remote-disable feature | The Verge

Installed and working on AOKP test build. I can't add my debit card though.. it just won't take it.. my credit card went in just fine.

debit cards function differently then credit cards and aren't supported (from what I understand)
