[Verizon] [ROM] [JB 4.2] XenonHD Stable-11.1 (7/3/13)

Clean flash required?

If you are coming from ANY ROM other than Xenon, then yes, clean flash. If coming from Xenon 5, dirty flash SHOULD be okay... it was for me.

hey, now i know JB doesnt have the customization that ICS had quite yet at this moment buttttt.....does everything work now cus i really wanna get some of this butter but not if everything isnt working...

I haven't found anything that isn't working yet. Each version of Xenon brings more and more customization options. I would encourage you to make a nandroid backup, wipe really well, flash Xenon & gapps and take it for a test drive. If you don't like it? Wipe well and restore your nandroid :)

How do i get DSPManager to work with pandora? I dont see an option in settings under sound to use DSPManager. Any help?

DSP Manager works great in the Google Play Music thingy by default it comes up when you enter settings, but I, like you, have found that when in Pandora it is not there. So, what I have done is simply go to my app drawer and open DSP Manager while running Pandora and change whatever settings I want...i.e. equalizer and such and it seems to work fine. Just have to use a few extra steps to get there, but works for me.

I know its probably been asked but what does SuperWipe do exactly?

BB, Super Wipe is a simple script zip that formats data, cache, dalvik and system automatically. Run that once and it does the job for you :)

EDIT: Well folks, you'll find that I've removed my Dropbox from various locations in the thread.

I PMd the Developer of this phenomenal ROM and asked if it was okay if I distributed his work here via Dropbox. I was advised that distribution is fine, as long as downloads can be counted. Since I can't count downloads from a Dropbox folder (or I don't know how to do it if I can), I deleted the ROMs from my Dropbox and linked to the Rootz OP in my posts.

This was done for two reasons: (a) the developer requested it... and since it IS his work, I have no right to distribute it except on his terms; and (b) I am kind of a staff sort of person here at AF, and I want to be at peace with all - especially people on other forums. Last thing I want or need is someone from Rootz sending a love letter to the Admin here ( who would then send ME a love letter ;) ). I'm not only doing it to avoid trouble... I'm doing it because it's the right thing to do.

I know you good folks will understand. Only distribute this ROM via countable means, and with permission of the developer.

:)

That's what I figured but wanted to double check. I was only wary of it wiping more than the data/cache/dalvik and taking things like sd with it. Thanks for the info Chief.
