Help [Q] Facebook gallery sync

Hello

I have got a sgs3 today, i have setup facebook contacts sync, but now i got a problem with facebook gallery sync, i always get a error.

But calendar sync works fine but not facebook album sync

i have add a link for pic of my error

I've had my sg3 for about a month, and the gallery sync was working, but I noticed it stopped last week so I wonder if it is a facebook problem. :thinking:

I don't even get the option for syncing my Gallery or Calendar. I only get the option to sync contacts. This is with the downloaded free Facebook app.

I also noticed that when I go to Accounts and Sync in the setting on my phone and go to Facebook, it shows my email that I use to log in, not my name like the OP's photo. (Not sure if that makes a difference?)

Am I doing something wrong or not doing something? Do I need to sync my facebook and google accounts somehow? I have a different email for my facebook login than my google account.

There is two account too add for Facebook, one for contacts (from Facebook app) and the other for gallery and calendar

Thanks! Now I am at the same step as the OP. It did the Calendar fine and said the gallery one was down and would be back shortly.

I never would have thought to add the account to my calendar. I thought I did it all from the facebook app.

Yes and Samsung said it's something Facebook needs to fix :-/

Does the regular FB app (from the Play store) have that feature and does it work?

The Play Store app apparently only does the contacts.

How odd; I would have thought the full app would do everything and the gratuitous one included with the phone would only do contacts.

I rarely use FB, so I can't help.

I m unable to sync gallery, i only get "contacts"in accounts and sync menu.
While trying to add an FB account to calendar. i do not get an option of Facebook.
What am i doing wrong :thinking:

? i installed the app from play store would like to sync albums to gallery and calendar as well.
