Unless you have proof to call someone out on their info, don't say anything. It's one thing to argue reasons why something might not be true - after all pretty much everything here is what I'd classify as a rumor - but just saying someone is lying with no backup does nothing for anyone. If MM said the Incredible would have an i7 in it, then you'd have reasoning.

Yes, let's get his friend fired! There's no reason not to believe a person could be from verizon or htc (especially with a post count of 3).

If he's making it up though, how do we believe the other regular poster? What makes someone else more credible than him?

The only concrete proof we'll ever have is if engadget says it's official or it shows up on verizon's site.

Don't be a jag. There is no "burden of proof." He didn't tell some tall tale that ended with any conclusions or promises or commitments. He described the conduct of the rep, presented his inferences and presented them as such. How about you go out and do better and then come back and start calling people out. There's not much anyone can say to convince anyone either way- you can believe MM or not- it's a rather senseless debate... and opinions are like , ummmm, anuses? Everybody's got em, nobody likes to admit that theirs' stinks as bad as the other guys. The truth is they all pretty much smell the same. When the facts iron out somebody's gonna get an "I told ya so" moment, but for the time being let's discuss something relevant- or at least fun....
