As you may have seen from some other threads amout themes etc.. JC4 and JC5 will not work with Glaxo 1.61 or work with the 1.6 Themes.
In each and every combination I have tried it comes down to the Launcher.apk
If you replace this with any other version, and I have tried a few. Or amend the current one by too much using Metamorph, then the phone will not work.
What you get after the Samsung screen on boot, is a blank screen. If you try to unlock the phone, you just get the word Samsung apear. (Bottom half at top of screen, whole word in the middle and top half at the bottom.)
Has anybody managed to switch the Launcher.apk on these firmwares? If so what did you have to do different.
