Are any of you guys considering buying a Nexus 7 tablet?

Agreed!

I hardly even use my A500, which is why I might sell it.

Yeah..I had the A500 too. That thing is a brick...it's heavy and not a tablet you want for being on the go constantly.

Then Nexus 7 is very light and can be put into a jacket or just about anywhere.

It's all about personal choice...and for me personally, I love the thing!

I got curious and saw the review for the A500 and it looks like a very impressive tablet. I saw it weights 1.7 pounds which is quite a bit. But the build quality seems very nice.

bought mine a week ago and I absolutely love it... my initial perspective on 7in tablets wasnt the most positive, i first thought they were a waste of space but now seeing how light and convenient, and responsive the Nexus7 is, its the only 7in tablet that gets my appoval.
Every since i unboxed it, my Esteem has been collecting dust which brings me to my only complaint, no rear camera...
TBH, the only reason i still have my Esteem is to take videos and pics to transfer to the N7. Other than being a substitute for a dedicated camera, my Esteem is useless becuz i havent had that crappy MetroPOS service since December... Call quality beats the Esteem by miles. when using Groove IP on the Esteem the app doesnt stay alive long when not in use resulting in missed calls. Ppl on the other line complain of low reception and irritating echo. With the Nexus7 all of those issues are gone...i bought the 16gb version but feel as though i wouldve been ok with just the $200 8gb version, i have over 100 apps on it and still have nearly 10gigs of memory left...but im not complaining, ill come up with a way to make use of the remaining space
I cant say enuff about how satisfied i am with this device...gonna buy another one for my gal...just hope they dont announce an upgraded model with more bells and whistles too soon

My manager just told me that Google is planning on releasing their own internet and tv service. Google Fiber. They have 3 plans out so far.
Free internet, up to 7 years, just pay $300 installation fee (or $25 a month for 12 months) and it lasts 7 years.
1 Gigabyte internet (faster than free, and just about everything else!) $70 a month, no installation fee.
And the last, 1 gigabyte internet, full hdtv lineup, no data caps, a tv box, storage (my manager told me 1 terabyte local, but site doesn't specify) 1 terabyte cloud storage, and, here's the kicker for you guys that want this:
A NEXUS 7 TABLET!
https://fiber.google.com/about/
It looks like it's only available in Kansas City for now, but you can pre-register for the service for the next 15 days at the time of this post

That's crazy, 1gbps??? Mine is only 30mbps. That $120 plan looks awesome and comes with a free remote xD
