I am aware there are about 100, but most of them seem either really bulky, or are just to prevent a few scratches.

Basically before I got this phone i had a orginional motorla droid, the screen held up pretty well, but I ended up dropping it quite often, the power button stopped working, the volume button stopped working, and the screen liked glitching out once a day or so. If it had anything to do with being dropped, I dunno, but I am a little paranoid, however Its not really going to be hard use, the droid more or less lasted 2 years with no case at all. and I will be much more careful this time

But I have on issue, the otterbox commuter looked perfect, a little shock resistance without being huge, but people said the buttons are hard to press, after having my power button slowly fail then stop working, I am PARANOID about it, and having a hard to press power button would/annoy me quite a bit.

Is there any case with some shock/drop protection that is not either absolutely gigantic, bigger is okay though, and also has either uncovered buttons or easy to press ones?

Basically requirements are

*Fits in pocket
*some drop protection
*easy to press buttons.

Know anything?

Black APEX Hybrid Hard Case Gel Cover For Samsung Galaxy S2 (Epic 4G Touch D710) Sprint

I bought this case from amazon for less than 5 bucks and love it. it gives the phone a nice protective skin without being bulky and there are button covers on the cover itself that make the buttons on the phone more pronounced and easier to press. This is a dual layer case which makes it feel good in the hand and feels like there's enough thickness to take a fall or two.

I got this one for couple of months and love it,the good:awesome grip i can lay it on top of my dashboard and take quick turns and phone stay put, kick stand, rised edges around screen which protect screen if drop, buttons easy to press in my opinion, nice usb and headphone jack covers that you flip out when in use (keep dust particles out ),is a hard case enclosure with a rubber jacket(to me means double protection)the no so good:the bottom front edge cpartially covers the home buttons so is a little dificult to press the bottom buttons what i did i shave it off a little with a blade now i got full access to thosr buttons,is a little bulky ,at first i kind of though it wS bulky but the great grop on the phone overcome that ,is so gripie that when in front pocket usually the pocket flips inside out when you get phone out, anyway herr it is i think for $8 is a whole lotta protection http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=380444191060&index=11&nav=WATCHING&nid=97990162468
