Barely any decent 3D games on Android... sold my Galaxy S2 :) :)

Why is it that nvidia and The Xperia play get all the hardcore type 3D games and the people with a Galaxy S2 are left 2 wait. Its what is letting Android down and in particular Samsung. I goto the android market its full of mostly 2D crappy games, go into the games hub, it only has oldish games from popular developers... why does it take so long 4 games 2 arrive on the Galaxy S2? why cant they make it 4 majority of devices rather then just release the games on one device at a time? its stupid! bad marketing, bad business and bad stratedgy.
I want games like Fifa 12, Nba 2k12, Dead Space, Backstab, Madden NFL 12, need for speed(all of them), Shadowgun, etc.... but nope, wont be getting my wish anytime soon especially not 4 the galaxy s2

You must've missed ours then - Great Little War Game. A turn based strategy game might not be your cup of tea, but it ticks all your other boxes. We'll be releasing more 3D graphics fest games in the future also.

i want dual stick shooters, like star blitz, gun bro's, rpg's like order and chaos online(which i know is on there), etc but i also want my sporty games!! iphone has them but android has 2 wait months and months on end just 4 them 2 get released... sad!
also is 11gb usable memory for the INTERNAL SD enough? you cannot transfer game data resources 2 the external which is stupid!

Just my 2 cents, but maybe if you want all these "hardcore" games, something like a vita or 3ds might be better for you - games have always seemed like an afterthouht to me on phones. It would certainly control better, that is for sure. It makes sense to me the experia would get games first, seeing as it has the controls built in.

if you are selling your SII because of games, why did you get it in the first place? Also have you tried some of the roms and emulators? all the original consoles as well as PS1/N64 emulators.

You can play Dead Space using Chainfire 3D, allot of the nvidia games work as well, Riptide GP, Galaxy On fire 2, Sprinkle, Guerrilla Bob THD, Arma 2, Dungeon Defenders, Samurai II and a few others, needs root. Shadowgun isnt even out yet.

However 9mm, Backstab and NFS Shift are available on the market, they work just fine.

You could have figured most of this out with a few google searches, clearly your just not hardcore enough.

IMO, gaming should not be #1 on your list of reasons to get the GS2 (or any other cell phone). I see gaming as a bonus.

It runs perfectly fine on SGS2. What doesn't run fine on some versions of SGS2 (and a ridiculously large number of other phones) is Android Market.

We've worked around its shitness now and a new patch will be out on Monday.

(The fix being to use only one APK so Market can't pick the wrong one anymore...)

The reason I skipped the SGS2 (aside from my SGS at 1.6Ghz still being fast enough) is the whole Tegra push on the market.
I want to wait and see if Tegra ends up as the standard format or what.
