Just wanted to say everything works great on phone. played all day with gps and wifi on and its still says 71%. Love the rom and the new app market. Im lovin this!!!!! runs much faster. well done bhman!!!!!! keep up the good work. cant wait to see whats in store for the future

I agree. We should be happy with what we have so far. Definitely better than what Samsung is doing. Please stop asking BH_MAN when stuff are going to be released. I ran R5 for 2 days and let the battery die down completely, then recharged. Did the same thing the next day but then switched to R6. Maybe I'm not giving it enough time to adjust? Something I'm missing in the process? Advice from anyone would be great.

If it's not broke then don't fix it. R5 is handling just fine for me. Are there slight issues regarding battery life, wifi and voice search? Yes, but it's manageable. Everyone needs to find some middle ground and stick to what works for them. If you were having a smooth experience on an earlier build then go go back to that build number and be content. You can't expect every little big to be fixed at your beck and call.

Be happy that BH_MAN is as generous as he is. From past experience, I've seen devs release minimal upgrades at best. BH_MAN has released 6 in only a matter of days ... that is unheard of !!

i completely agree! everyone has a different flavor of ice cream they like.. such is the same with these roms!

with that said... i find it strange that yesterday when i flashed R6 (on a full battery) i had my phone on all day long.. using it ALOT.. ya know settting everything back up to my liking.. and now today... its defiantly running out of battery about 4x as fast... im gonna give it a few days of full charge to full drain out and see if this fixes itself! BH and people helping him keep up the great work! all your work is greatly apperciated around here!

Honestly I can't really think when I got Hammered.. Had a beer couple Weeks back.. But only had 2..

But, Yeah I hear ya... I'm not a Fan of Drinker's either, But mainly due to my Father.....

Once I get the baseboards finish & the Door's hung back up... I'll try and Make time to smali the JC1 & JC6 to compare the wifi issue... Vib might be an easy fix, but not likely..

PERSONALLY****

I would say concentrate in the Vib, I need it because I attend a lot of meetings and I try to stay in contact with everyting else in the world but don't want to be stuck looking at my phone every 5 min to check for messages (manual push lol)

Wifi is a touchy subject for me when it comes to Android, I think they still have a long way to go. I've got (even with Samsung Twiz image) poor performance from places where with another phone (non android) would have great results. I even have had cases were downloads from the market wont start until 3G or EDGE is back on.

Thats my 2 cents.

And regarding to the beers.... join the army! I haven't had a drink in 9 months now! :thinking:

Seconded megabiteg, except no 3g for me, my BH2 is unlocked on AT&T.

Thanks to BH_MAN the phone I bought on a whim didn't turn into the phone I flipped two days later back when I discovered his no touchwiz 1.5 ROM.

wifi issue: i can re connect it, not problem
battery issue: i can charge my phone twice a day, not problem

Yea,

At this point I thing that R5 / R6 is stable and good. I have been using R5 and for everything I do I see that the phone responds very good. I think that getting Vib out the way will be a huge step for BH_MAN and one big step for humanity (that has a BH2) lol.

There is nothing wrong with letting BH_MAN know what we want, if you don't then he would assume that we don't care about it, but does this mean he has to do it because we told him to do so...no it's entirely up to him!

interestingly (annoyingly?) my apps still vanish from the phone from time to time.
always the same chunk of apps (though it appears to be a slightly different group now than it was with the original image - though the same ones between two different flashings of the same image - and now, some of them (handcent, goggles, shopper) refuse to even be restored, saying that I'm out of space, despite that absolutely not being the case.

I did note that the apps that won't restore are still listed in the packages.xml file post-vanish. I have not checked to see if the ones that CAN be restored are there as well - though my suspicion is that they are.

Well I charged up my phone and loaded up R6 version, so far so good!!!! It was a breeze to load up! Except I couldn't get GParted to work properly, it wouldn't recognize my SD card. I'll tackle that later. It's only been about 4hours, battery seems to be holding strong. I've got everything turned on to try and kill it, then recharge overnight. I can't get SWYPE to work, which I loved. It keeps force closing!! And the dreaded gallery FC is a bitch, but I can live with it for now. Thanks BH_MAN, Beer $$$$$$ on it's way!!! This BH2 community ROCKS!

^ What he said. I can confirm this works.

A little side note, not to assume you don't know what you're doing, but make sure you do this in the Better Terminal app included in the R6 rom.

For people who have sleep issues with their phone, try out the widget "ScreenModeWidget" I've only had it for a few hours but it seems to be working so far. Make sure you have it on sleep mode! Try it out for a while and let me know if it helps!

I turned off GPS Location & Turned on Wifi Location... Seem to Fix it for me, but, could be to Permissions I'm Running so I need to keep track of what I'm doing though.
