Help Randomly complete homescreens disappear?

Randomly a home screen is going blank it could be a different home screenDach day when I going to go launcher E X I don't know if that is the issue or it's my galaxy s 2 can anybody help me.
All shortcuts or apps etc on the screen disappears. One day it was screen 3 out of 8 ho launcher ex screens. Replace painstakingly then 6 of 8 now today another.
There are no similar complaints on the go launcher in play or Go Launcher forums so I don't know if it is the browser or something else related to ICS

Please help!

Try with another launcher and see if you have any issues.

How do I fit my 8 screens on another launcher? I went from the stock browser to go launcher ex a year ago as the stock one was way too limiting. I don't want to root.
Is there another with as many screens or you just want me to test things? Thanks!

Not sure other launchers can place so many screens but there are Apex, Launcher Pro etc that you can try out....

Does a reboot (switch off then on) of the phone solve the issue?

You also didn't mentioned what launcher you were using earlier. Anyway, you could always try clearing cache and data of Go Launcher then set up the homescreens again to see if that works.

Apex lets you have 9 homescreens.

hi you said i didnt mention which launcher i am using but in my first sentence i mention go launcher ex as my launcher.
re the reboot helping, no it does not help. once one of the screens goes blank it stays that way.
i have emailed the developer as i never had this issue until about two weeks ago. right after a go launcher ex update. but no others so far i can find complaining of same issue although there is always a first right?

they keep replying back in broken english, i guess they are from somewhere in the orient, asking me questions after questions with no solutions yet.

re wiping cache. not sure how to do that. under settings? will it wipe all my screens? i dont know how to back up screens, just apps. i have backup pro as an app and when i reinstall things after updates like when ics came out it doesnt put things back the way they were, just sort of. thanks for offering help.

i lead programmer for go launcher is working with me on figuring out whats happening. if we figure it out i will post on here.

Sorry... missed out the line about the launcher you are using.

You can clear data and cache in the GoLauncher app. Just go to Manage Applications/Downloaded/Go Launcher

Tap on the app and you should see place to clear data, cache and defaults.

It would however clear all settings back to original, so you either have to take the time to set everything up again or to backup the settings. I remember if the GoLauncher actually can make a backup of its settings. Only worry if there is a setting issue, backing that up and restoring it might make the problem appear again.

Don't forget to test some other launchers.
