I have only made one post on this site. It was about selecting a new phone. I have had BB for years. I was going to wait for Blackberry 10. Two weeks of research and I got myself a Samsung Galaxy S3 16GB, with an Otterbox case, and a 32G SD card.

I have downloaded Swiftkey 3, and score mobile so far. I have a lot to learn and will probably be asking a lot of questions trying to learn the Android system.

I am glad I found this forum. I figured most android and iphone forums would be a lot of bashing. I was so wrong. Great forum here. Thanks for helping me make this decision. I really appreciate it.

Welcome to android phones! I was a former bb user too. My first smartphone was the 8320 and then I upgraded to the 8900. I then upgraded to an android with a slide out keyboard because I felt I needed a tactile keyboard. I had that android for 2 years and then realized that I rarely used the keyboard once I figured out how to use that swipe feature. Now with the S3, I don't miss the keyboard at all.

In terms of work usage, a BB is actually really great to use - no doubt about it.

MDS is great but the supposedly secure email solution and activations etc start to annoy me when there's a lot to do. Activating and syncing a bb can take and hour sometimes where as it takes 2 minutes to set up exchange. Too much to go wrong
