Did Samsung push it directly to the tablet ?, or did you have to do the Kies route.

I'm also on a WiFi only, also in NY and never got any notification. I was also running the tablets "Check for updates" function every day. Zip.

It was only after reading here that I learned it was available for the WiFi units, but only thru Kies, which was "problematic". Finally got it loaded. Runs fine.

I got my ICS update yesterday, and it was pushed directly (read: OTA) to my WiFi-only Tab. This was fortunate, because Kies has never functioned for me in the slightest since I unboxed the thing.

BTW my ICS notification popped up automatically while I was reading something on my Tab... I didn't need to "check for updates." I also read that Samsung is rolling the update out as they see fit, so hopefully you'll get your notification soon.

Samsung pushed it directly to tab... running great! Everything improved. :)

I have been impatiently awaiting the ICS update and have yet to receive it, but there might be light at the end of the tunnel. I contacted Samsung about 3 months ago and they told me it would be rolled out about 4 weeks from then. At least I now have heard of someone downloading it. Thanks for taking the time to let us know that ICS might actually get here. TER :)

I just got the update this morning to let you and other people know that it is still rolling out. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, though. I chatted with Samsung yesterday, and they were "Very sorry for my inconvenience" (Boy, do I hate those words) and couldn't tell me when the ICS would push to my unit. Anyhow, thanks for your information and help. TER
