Yesterday, At Six Flags Great America... It Started Pouring at the end of the night! As i was under a Canopy taking my phone out of my pocket, it slipped out of my hands, onto the ground and slide right into a puddle!

I immediately grabbed it and ran in the pouring rain to the nearest bathroom and put it under the hand dryer for 10-15 minutes getting every nook and cranny..... I noticed that there isn't any open spots for water to get into the phone?

Needless to say, the phone has turned on and works FLAWLESS!!!

Uhh... there are plenty of places for water to get in. There is no reason to believe that the Aviator is waterproof. If it were, it would have been marketed as such. I think you just got lucky, but if you want to confirm that, go ahead and soak it overnight and let us know what you find. ;)

EDIT: Also, for what it's worth, the normal protocol for a wet phone is to take the battery out right away, and make sure not to put it back until you know that the phone is totally dried out. I've heard that packing it in rice works well to get moisture out because it absorbs the water.
