Anyone got android 4.0.4 official update

Had mine 2 weeks now and upgraded to latest build 4.1.B.0.431. Noticeably slower than Gingerbread and I agree, some mini freezes and lag. Most noticeable using browser and Google Play, never happened with gingerbread.

However battery life seems improved and getting 2-3 days with normal use, talk, text and some internet use, but I am probably a light to medium user.

The jelly bean update will be released soon ; you just have to wait.

Jellybean will not be available for update for the Arc S - thats my understanding of it so far -

I got the 4.0.4 update and seems to be working fine - nothing out of the ordinary that wasnt there on gingerbread for me - never did get to the 4.0.3 update but instead went straight to the 4.0.4 update and so far so good - battery life for me still sucks pretty bad but then again my phone is on wifi all the time and i keep using it for downloading stuff and browsing etc -

Yammi you have ICS sandwich already - Android v4.0.3 is ICS.

There is a small update to that takes the version number up to 4.0.4 that is apparently on the way but that is still ICS. Updates are normally rolled out by country and carrier so it could take a while to get it.

Jelly Bean is the latest version of android which is android version v4.1.x. I don't think Sony will bring JB to the Arc S so ICS 4.0.4 may well be the final "official" update for this phone.

Hi Peterb23, thanks for the reply, must be showing my age with all this technology. Must have already got ICS on the phone when I brought it a few months ago. Well at least I know now that I have the latest software.

Thanks Phil. :D
