Actually the stock browser seems to work better than Chrome on the GT2. The reason I wanted to use Chrome is use to use their Google Translate extension but I can't figure out how to do that on the GT2. Whenever I got to Chrome's > Settings, it still crashes.

yeah, still crashes for me too. Google says "they're working on it."

Just restarted my tab 2 and got a Chrome update. I can now successfully go into settings on Chrome without it crashing. Wahoo thanks Google!

Same here!

Unfortunately, I figured out that Mobile Chrome doesn't support extensions yet, apparently. So, no Google Translate for me. :/

re: YouTube
I noticed that it seems to get its orientation confused and automatically reverts to Portrait after finishing a video. Anyone else seeing this? Or is there a default setting that needs to be unchecked?

This is a facebookpage for Samsung Sweden where they announce updates to JellyBean.
Please note that 'inga uppgifter' means 'NO DATA'.

Seems not to be happening soon... the update on our Tab.

Well when we do get the Jelly Bean OS I sure hope Samsung will make it a lot better then the OS the Tab2 now uses, I hope they fix all the things it now does shabby. If Samsung wants people to keep using the Tab2 and for the new buyers to not keep returning them for refunds, I sure hope they do their home work, and not use us owners as a testing bed for their Jelly Bean OS software.

What is yours doing shabby?
As far as returns, I hear there's more returns of the Nexus 7.
As an owner, I dont feel I was used as a testing bed.

For one item to me I feel is an important flaw when posting e-mail I must keep taping twice to get the programs attention. This does not happen with my iPad2. Also the screen is just to quick to be changed by just a brush of the fingers. And those nasty box's around peoples faces what were they thinking everyone wants to post a name or some words in their pictures? And no way of turning them off. Get it fixed Samsung.

I had to look to find it, but it sounds like the Buddy Share option (under the rectangle icon) is turned on. My default is Single Shot.

I don't notice either of these things happening to me.

It's really unfair for me to compare the Tab2 or the larger screened unit to the iPads they are not in the same class. I am waiting to see just how the Mini iPad if there is going to be one, will compare to the Tab2. I might just be expecting to much from such a small screened device.

Sure strange that when I called Samsung Tech. Support I was told it could not be turned off. But it sure can be turned off. Thanks for the post of the details.
This makes my Tab2 a much more useful tablet.

No surprise. Most times we find correct answers from other users. You'd think the companies that make these devices would know what they can and cannot do. More times than not such isn't the case.
