[Verizon] [ROM] [JB 4.2] XenonHD Stable-11.1 (7/3/13)

Super sweet!
-S

Not working for me. I changed the bootloader and radios then rebooted, then I installed the ROM update, gaps and stock navigation bar then wiped cache/dvalik, fixed permissions and rebooted system. Still hanging up on bootup. I had to reinstall my backup.

Another question, once you update the bootloader and radios do you have to reinstall them on a complete wipe (factory reset)?

No. I the radios will never change. The you should be able to go into your system settings and verify what your running for the radio.

I think updating the bootloader really messed up my phone. I can't get past the google with the little lock. I can get into recovery but everytime I try to reboot system from recovery it just hangs at the google screen. Even if I try to restore backup. Please help.

How long are you waiting.

My very first JB rom took almost 5-10 mins. The Google logo at one point took 8 mins.

Have you been shutting it down during the boot up every time?

Just let the phone boot up. Walk away from it while it's booting and go do something else.

Yes I've been pulling the battery and trying again. Do I need to do something else to it before trying to reboot since I've been pulling the battery? Also, I got it to bootup right after installing the new bootloader then I installed the update ROM and gaps 726 and I got it to bootup but I was missing alot of stuff and it was not right so I tried to restore my backup and it won't bootup. Just did that one time.

Dude... Your slowly killing your phone.

1) boot into recovery.
2) full date wipe
3) wipe cache
4) wipe davlik
5) flash JB rom
6) flash 0726 gapps
7) fix permissions
8) reboot and let the phone boot up
9) I'm serious... Let the phone boot up. Just leave it alone. It's going to take a while.
10) once completely booted and all you stuff is loaded back on.... Reboot into recovery..
11) fix permissions again.
12) reboot. This reboot should on take a minute and should be normal.

Flashing Roms takes awhile and require patience, please don't yank your battery unless your sure something is wrong.

Let me know.

I appreciate your responses. I am up and running. I just left it alone and walked away as you suggested and it booted. I just didn't remember it taking so long on the other updates.

To answer you question, I don't remember what I was missing now.

ymDroid, you have been a lifesaver for me early in the mornings. Thanks again and I will practice more patience.

No. Remember to fix permissions after everything is set up the way you want it.

Then you shouldn't ever have boot up issues again.

This order should be made a Sticky. Especially the part about walk away... Went and jumped in the rain locker after #8...Came out and the Gapps was loaded waiting for me to hit a few keys. Did that and rebooted into recovery and did the permission thing and.....hot damn!! I printed this. Thanks for the info.
I also guess #13 doesn't have Apex, cause I had to get it from the Playstore.

Rockin here!!
