Google Now not showing updates for Football

Since Google Now (GN) has allowed me to enter the teams that I would like to track (NCAA football still missing), I have entered my favorite teams from various sports. Baseball started right away since we were in the middle of baseball season. Football and Hockey had to wait.

The Giants are the Football team that I have asked to follow and since the Giants played last night I expected to see scores through out the game. Unfortunately I was still only able to see the baseball results. I could not even get GN to reply to a voice request for the score of the game.

Could this be a problem with following more than one team? or could it be because the bulk of the season does not start until this weekend? or could it be that there is a problem with football in general? or is it something with the Nexus 7? or just a glitch in GN?

Not sure the answer, but I'm guessing we'll get a lot more people complaining if it's an overall issue as all the games kickoff this weekend. I'll report back if I'm not getting the Broncos score!

Noticing the same thing. Google Now did not pull any info for the Giants game. WTH

I did not get anything during the game either from the Dallas side. Very clearly has Dallas listed under sports settings as well

Didn't get any Vikings game updates myself. I was also a little irked that NCAA teams aren't available yet.

I have also included the SD Chargers as a team to follow. I am a Melvin Ingram (SC - Gamecocks) fan so I thought it might be good to follow them as well.

I did receive updates During the game and at the end of the game. Looks like the updates have started to flow.

I hope to get the Giants scores this coming week.

I noticed the Patriots came up today. 2 days late but hopefully on time in the future.

This issue was acknowledged and fixed by Google, so NFL teams should show up next week.

I know! Although I must admit...we ALMOST found a way to do it. Penn State on the other hand may very well go 0-12.
