Help Battery Charger?

Charger port is ****ed some how so went and got another battery so I had 2 and bought a battery charger. My thought was that instead of paying a fortune to get the port fixed or waiting ages to get it back from Samsung I could just charge 1 battery and then swap it with the 1 in my phone when that 1 is dying, will this work just as well?

I will get the port fixed in a month or 2 but right now I'm not too bothered about it, sending it off to Samsung will mean I'll have to wait like 6 weeks. The idea seemed good enough as when I'm sleeping I can just swap them over ect.

There any downfalls to this other than the fact I'll have to keep swapping the battery packs over?

Cheers

You may want to think about getting the extended battery options as well. They make a pretty large 5,000 mah battery and case (that will also make your phone about twice as thick).

I've actually replaced the USB port and associated circuit board on the Galaxy Note. You can buy the parts on eBay for about $15. If you're so inclined, it will probably take about 10 min to do! While I was testing different USB charging equipment, I actually fried my USB port and this fixed it right quick! The funny thing was that there wasn't even a warranty sticker on any of the screws inside! Anyways, it's something to think about...
