Root [Sprint/Cricket] best ROMs At the moment

Get on your devs! :p

I'm a fan of sense and ive been running cm10 as my daily for the past 3 weeks :D

Exact opposite lol. Jb is just soooo smooth. I can't go back to sense now

As far as I have seen, there have very minimal issues with AOKP on Sprint SGS3. It helps that Morfic is back and making Trinity kernels too. Once JB source is released, I'm sure he'll get a hold of a ramdisk and get to work for both TW and AOSP kernels.

i havent seen too much in the way of insane development on the xda side of any version of the S3. That might be due to the efficiency of the stock rom and the stuff thats already out there. There was so much development on the evo because it had some definite flaws out of the box that desperately needed to be fixed, whereas the S3 is pretty solid bone stock

True. But remember the phone just dropped about 3 or so months ago. When I joined the OG Evo team it was 1 full year in and it was slammed with different ROMs/Kernels and it had gone from Froyo to GB as well with SEVERAL updates in between (my favorite was 4.54 because of the WiFi bug on 4.67+ that randomly disconnected). I think it's going pretty well seeing as how we don't have official JB yet. I'm running the ParanoidAndroid ROM and this thing is AMAZING! No flicker and my MMS receiving finally works (on a CM10 based ROM).

Sprint SGS3 has some pretty solid development. You just gotta look. There's TONS of ROMs available. Kernel development will come. Even if they don't come, all you need is Morfic's Trinity kernel - it's beast.

ive seen the roms posted, but its nothing groundbreaking like the change from froyo to GB. That was a needed change. The stock ics rom is pretty darn awesome as it is. What kind of improvement can you say that this kernel you mentioned has done for you?

I see people post their battery life averages and their averages are less than what I get on stock. I'm probably not going to change the kernel at all since the TouchWiz UI/Kernel combo that Sammy built into this phone is just too good. Like I've said in other posts, I've secretly always been a TW fan even with my OG EVO. I looked for a TW launcher every chance I could get but it wasn't the same experience as an overlay. Some people just like AOSP but they wanted all the stuff that the Nexus just didn't have (removable battery, 2GB ram, SD card slot <--not to sure about that one, bigger screen, better (IMO) screen, 8 MP back cam, 1.3 MP front cam, etc).
