i have tried numerous jellybean rom's recently and have found issues with each one, AOKP, CM10 Nightly, Beantown, etc. and experienced problems like sucky data connection, no sound on phone calls, among others.

But now i am running TastemyBeans (actual name might be different) and have no issues the best thing i like about it is it's just like ICS version...but with things like google now and some other jellybean features... i missed the motion gestures and other ics like features....

Feel Free to chime in on your personal opinions

I don't own a computer. I used a friends comp to root, and flashed cm10 off ROM manager. I wanna try synergy, I did my best to do it with out a comp but it failed. Did I do something wrong or do I have to have a comp? I downloaded the file, moved it to my SD card in Linda file manager long pressed it and hit "add to zip" , rebooted into cwm and tried to flash it, no go...

AOKP. Thieves in the den. Rob from everyone, live in the biggest castle. CM10, JB, Custom Kernals, etc. Check out Phantoms ROM. Everything works. If it doesn't it's YOUR fault. lol. Just search Phantom AOKP.

Phantom's Rom has the same issues as any other CM10 rom. Loud in-call volume that isn't changeable (although i havent tested it), opening camera will display gallery has stopped working, sometimes and low call and external recording playback. There are probably more.

Do you really loose all those features when flashing custom ROMs?

I'm assuming that you mean do you lose the Touchwiz features (the way your phone came out of the box) such as the motion features. With an AOSP ROM such as CM10 or AOKP, you will not have all of the Touchwiz features. IMO, you gain many features with any custom ROM, but you have to decide what you want. No ROM will have everything you want unless you build it yourself. You gain features on top of Touchwiz with ROM's such as Synergy.
