I'm running quattrimus beta...everything is fine however i can't install select apps such as poweramp and gochat because i don't have enough space. i have a sd-ext with 2 gigs of space on a 16 gig card. how can i have insufficient storage? my phone has plenty of space as u can see makes no sense to me any suggestions?

Let me start with the fact that I am on bobzhome's rc1 cm9...not quat.... I had link2sd installed and had the same problem. It was it was interfering with cm9's built in data2sd. I had to do a total wipe...SD and sd-ext included and reflashed. Problem solved!Your app2sd is showing what my l2sd was...plenty of memory; but the rom showed otherwise.

The memory discrepancy is because of where the Dalvik Cache used to be (didn't show the real available app memory) and where it is now (shows the actual available app memory). Most apps where designed to read where it used to be. BobZohme and a few other devs moved it to show the actual available memory, where most apps aren't reading.

solution.....I've been on quattrimus awhile but mxplayer won't install nor will poweramp....no YouTube lack of overclocking and just terrible battery life is making me just so close to going back to Jerry's. ol reliable. not even close when you compare the things I've mentioned....and it feels faster cuz gb doesn't eat up as much ram as ics. rom keeper was dropped from the picture....aosp no aokp no cm9 fixes this that and the other thing, like seriously come on ....jerryscript's is literally flawless and i just don't see a whole lot happening on quattrimus as far as fixes and with jellybean aosp out in the wild devs won't be looking at ics but ahead to future jb works. where the heck is Jerry anyway? i am appreciative for all of tdms work on ics so im not to sound like a dick. ive been using it since alpha 5 and alot has been fixed since then. oh well after two years i think i need a new phone anyway and hop onto another phones community.

I'm glad you added you device info under your name. Now I know why I haven't seen this ROM before. It's not for the LG Optimus V.

In the future it might be a good idea to address problems with your phone in the forum specific to your phone so you get the best advice for your problems.

Not to many (if any) members here in the LG Optimus V forums know much, if anything, about your phone.

Glad you figured it out, maybe you could post that info in your phones forum?
