Help Razr Maxx Issues

Over the past couple of weeks my Maxx has become real slow. I would push an app and the screen would turn black and it would take a good minute to load. I was also having problems typing. It was as if the phone was sensing my typing was a row off. I finally got fed up with it yesterday and did a hard reset of the phone. The typing was worse after the reset and it would not connect to my wireless internet at home (it did before the reset). I called customer service and a replacement phone is on its way. I am just wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

Sounds a lot like mine over the last few weeks-getting very laggy, especially the keyboard. I did a hard reset a few days ago but no improvement.
So, whose customer service did you call, Verizon? Do you have some kind of replacement policy/insurance or are they just happy to replace? How long have you had the phone? Is it a new or refurbished replacement? What exactly did you say to get a replacement, because I might try?
Thanks

My Maxx has become increasingly laggy as well....I've also noticed that my phone will lock up when I'm browsing the web, and has been rebooting quite frequently now. Just seems that the ICS update has been more trouble than it's worth. Hoping that Motorola or Verizon can come up with a fix for this, as I am not enjoying my Maxx as much as I did when I first got it.

I just dialed 611 and talked with someone in technical support. I have a business account so I don't know if that matters at all. I had to call from my wife's phone because I couldn't even dial from my phone at the time because it was so messed up.

After letting it sit over night it was a little better yesterday. This morning I loaded a webpage and needed adobe flash. I downloaded the app and then had a huge lag on my phone. I don't know if that was just a coincidence or if there is something more to it.

My replacement phone comes today. I do have an upgrade on our account and was thinking of giving my razr maxx to one of my employees and upgrading to the hd when it comes out. I hate redoing my phone and setting everything back up. I am pretty frustrated with my razr maxx at the moment.

you may want to try:

Turn phone off.

While off, press and hold both volume keys and power on phone.

Press volume key down to highlight recovery and then press volume key up to boot into recovery. Then you will see android icon with triangle.

Press both volume keys.

Choose clear cache partition using down volume and press power button to clear cache.

Highlight reboot / restart and press power and your phone will reboot.
