White is in stock. Titanium Grey Note 2 (UK) Delayed until 15th of Oct

So I'm doing my usual thing of scanning the web and the mobile phone stores online for note information and I see good news and bad news. Good news is, the White version is in stock. Bad news is, the Titanium Grey model has been delayed until 15th of Oct. UK.

Building yourself up for a Monday release to be told to wait an extra two weeks is a very sobering feeling. Inner sadness. The official samsung accessories available at the end of the month as well is a bit of a mess too, like no protection for your phone for another two weeks, sort it out Samsung. Apple handle these kind of things much better, this seems like a real mess. Sigh... :bawling:

Does "sim free" equate to "international unlocked" for those who are looking to bring one to the US to use on at&t hspa?

sim free does not mean it is 4G ready though does it?

No, the SIM FREE phones being shipped now are NOT 4g ready.

But they will work on ATT HSPA+ network.

Also Rumors going around that another version of the Note II will be released when the UK gets its LTE network up and running.

Does this include buying it on contract from a network (ie O2)...was planning to buy the grey one on Monday ?...or only effecting SIM free versions ?

Man, i'm still waiting for mine. Even the Samsung store in London I called yesterday said they will not be stocking titanium grey as it's not released yet but Handtec has it in stock? Hmm. If they really do have it, looks i'll be cancelling my unlocked-mobiles order...

Just registered but have been following this forum for a few days.

FYI - I have just ordered the Titanium Grey SGN2 from Mobi City. I called them to double check they had it in stock and they confirmed they had several.

This is the debate we are having here:

It appears the EU Titanium grey is available, but the Actual official UK one has been delayed. Many UK sellers are actually selling the EU one. Even Samsung store in London have no Titanium Grey available. As for the differences between the EU and the UK Titanium grey, we still don't know.

I've just switched to the white one as Clove cannot supply grey at the moment. The thing that swung it for me is that I've just spent 4 days in Rome sightseeing and there happened to be a guy in front of me on the Spanish Steps using a white one! I couldnt resist but ask to have a look!!!
Always had black but switching this time to white - how very cosmopolitan of me lol

It's very tempting, but seeing all the pics of the grey that people are receiving I will stick it out and wait. I don't do white phones lol

For what its worth myself and a couple of other people got the Grey one today from Handtec.

So far all grey models from Handtec are the EU version. Mine is the French version.

So its probably correct that the UK Grey version is delayed.

Yea I will just sit it out and wait. I've come to the cold depressing acceptance I will have to wait. Very curious what the actual UK differences are besides the manual and power plug. Maybe that's it!

Anyone know whether the current phones being supplied are going to be unlocked as 3 are advertising the grey as in stock but am not going to buy from them unless i can be sure that it is unlocked. How long does it generally take for a carrier to write their own software and ruin the phone.

This means the UK one is here!?! And all the UK pre orders will now be sent out surely? It actually says UK SIM FREE. Could the wait finally be over for us greys?

People got their Grey version today. So yes....

I'm waiting for the 32GB to come out. I doubt it'll come out sim-free in the UK. And will be restricted to 1/2 carriers. Vodafone had this deal with Samsung, they can only sell the 32GB S3. Might be the case for the larger versions of the Note 2 as well.

5th of October the seller where I have pre ordered have changed their Titanium GN2 UK date to. I could have it on Saturday. Lets see.
