Business Calendar - I sync my work calendar with Google Calender
Color Notes - Keeps all my lists synced between my phone and tablet.
Percent Calculator - Was a free app one day on Amazon and I use this all the time.
QuickPic - Best photo viewing app for android!
Comic Rack Pro - Syncs my Digital Comics from my PC to my tablet and removed them once read.
Go SMS Pro - Best SMS program with the best filtering options, but its starting to get bloated.
Weather Bug Pro - Still my favorite weather app.
Wifi File Exp Pro - Best way to move files to my tablets and phones from my PC.
Keepass - Best password manager, plus keep your DB on Dropbox and you can access it from anywhere.
MX Player Pro - Best Video player I have found.
Calculator Widget Pro - Missed the HTC one when I got my S3, this is pretty close.
Tune In Radio Pro/Pandora - need music for at work.
Shazam - Beats Soundhound in my opinion.
Aldiko Prem - Best e-read (kindle app sucks).
Battle Ships Pro - great game to play in the bathroom :)

Great list! Based on your recos, I have changed my browser to Chrome, my music player to Fusion, and my photo viewer to QuikPic and am really happy with all of them. (I am also considering Go SMS Pro but am worried about reports in recent Play store reviews of SMS spam coming the dev.) Thanks for sharing. :)

What email app are you guys using? I don't really care for the stocker. I need something for my Yahoo mail. Wish I could forward it to GMail without paying Y! extra.

just go into gmail via pc browser and set your other emails up in there i have a few all come through to my gmail and my phone reads them all as if looking in browser, for eg i have my sky email set up in their my main work email is then left alone in outlook -altho i do use the stock droid email for that and find it works fine..

Great! Glad I can help. I haven't gotten any spam from SMS Pro but I will definitely keep an eye on it. It would be a shame though because it's the only app I've found that can handle sending and receiving group texts.

Gonna try this...but Yahoo doesn't allow forwarding to another email or POP set up without paying for their premium email service.

I've got a few that have been mentioned & a couple that haven't :

SWIFTKEY 3

SD MAID PRO

APP DRAGON

APK EXTRACTOR

ROOT EXPLORER

BATTERY CIRCLE

REALCALC SCIENTIFIC CALCULATOR PRO

LOGCAT

I'm looking for a WI-FI Tether app that works w/o root on the SGS III on SPRINT. Anyone have a suggestion?

THX!

If you want your yahoo mail pushed, maildroid is the way to go. It doesnt require premium yahoo service, it just starts pushing from the moment you sign in. Theres a free version that runs adds (that you can block if youre rooted). The paid version is expensive though.
The official yahoo mail app also pushes. But it's very limited (cant open on inbox, cant add multiple accounts).

I found a way to forward Yahoo to Gmail. So I'll test that for a while.

I do like the Yahoo Mail app...but every time I download it it stops working after a few days. I'll give maildroid a shot too. Thanks.
