This is all very good, but I think I've downloaded and tried literally hundreds of apps. My list is HUGE. To delete them is taking an age. Needs some sort of select and multiple remove function. Maybe I'm just being fussy and a grumpy old man......

You can multi select and delete.
Long press your first app, then tap each subsequent one to select all apps then click the delete button (circle with a line through it) in the top right corner of the screen.
The delete button only remains if all selected applications are not currently installed.

And i agree with you syd, you are indeed a fussy grumpy old man!

Im not using the S2 but i thank you.
I just went threw and cleand house in the all apps section. Id been wondering when they would wise up.
